What we offer
Physical Security Surveys (Door & Window Locks, Lighting, Cameras, Access Control) - §786.0706(2)(a)(1,4-7)
We inspect and document doors, windows, sliding doors, pool areas, outdoor lighting, and access points for the presence and condition of required deadbolts, locking devices, proper lighting, cameras, and peepholes / door-viewers. Findings are recorded through tagged photography to support compliance with the statutory requirements of §786.0706.
We measure and map illumination levels in parking lots, exterior walkways, building approaches, entrances, and common areas in conformity with §786.0706 requirements. Using NIST-calibrated equipment and consistent methodology, we produce foot-candle measurements, and photographic documentation to support the statute’s lighting requirements for dusk-to-dawn conditions.
CPTED Assessments - §786.0706(2)(b)
A comprehensive Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) evaluation of the property, including sightlines, natural surveillance, access control paths, territorial reinforcement, landscaping, maintenance, and environmental conditions. This service supports the §786.0706 requirement for a CPTED assessment conducted by a qualified practitioner (valid for up to three years).
Employee Training - §786.0706(2)(c)
We provide structured crime-deterrence and safety training aligned with the §786.0706 requirement for personnel instruction in security awareness and situational response. Training records can be included in our reporting.
Physical Security Consulting
In addition to statute-focused assessments, Lighthouse Protection Group provides comprehensive physical security consulting and design review services for residential, commercial, industrial, educational, and institutional properties.
We are experienced in reviewing, evaluating, and supporting the design and operation of:
• Electronic access control systems
• Intrusion and burglary alarm systems
• Video surveillance (CCTV / VMS) systems
• Documentation review (policy, procedure, instructions, etc.)
• Design review
• Perimeter protection technologies
• Credentialing, key control, and entry management
• Security operations and monitoring workflows
• System integration and lifecycle planning
• Equipment placement and coverage analysis
• Operational effectiveness and procedural alignment
Our role is vendor-neutral and systems-agnostic. We focus on functionality, coverage, reliability, and alignment with risk profiles and site objectives — not on the sale of equipment.
These services pair seamlessly with CPTED and 768.0706 assessments, allowing clients to align environmental design, mechanical protection, and electronic security into a single cohesive strategy.
Professional Imaging
High-quality photographic documentation is a critical component of every Lighthouse Protection Group engagement.
Imaging capabilities include:

• Strong low-light performance for accurate night representation
• Wide-angle and standard focal coverage for context and detail
• Image stabilization for sharp, low-noise results
• Metadata preservation (date/time/technical data)
• Consistent framing and repeatable documentation methodology
• Secure cataloging and linkage to report findings
Images are tagged, organized, and embedded directly within final report deliverables for clarity and traceability.
