Terms and Conditions

1. Purpose of Consultation

The complimentary 30-minute consultation offered by Lighthouse Protection Group (“the Company”) is intended to provide potential clients with an introductory discussion regarding their security, risk, or compliance needs. The consultation may include general guidance, an overview of potential solutions, and a preliminary assessment of project requirements.

2. No Obligation or Commitment

The consultation is provided free of charge and does not create any obligation for either party to enter into a business relationship. Participation in the consultation does not constitute an agreement for services, a guarantee of results, or the establishment of a client-consultant relationship beyond the consultation itself.

3. Scope of Work and Proposals

All professional services beyond the initial consultation—such as assessments, reports, design work, or on-site activities—will be clearly defined in a written proposal. The proposal will include the scope of work, deliverables, fees, and any applicable terms. No work will begin until the customer has reviewed, accepted, and signed the proposal. Any additional or revised work requested after the start of a project will require a separate written agreement or change order.

4. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to treat information shared during the consultation as confidential. Lighthouse Protection Group will not disclose proprietary or sensitive information provided by the customer, except as required by law or with the customer’s written consent.

5. Limitation of Advice

Any advice or recommendations provided during the free consultation are general in nature and based on limited information available at that time. They should not be interpreted as formal security design, engineering, or compliance advice until a full scope of work is developed, contracted, and executed.

6. Scheduling and Cancellations

Consultations are scheduled by appointment only. If a customer needs to reschedule or cancel, they should provide at least 24 hours’ notice. Lighthouse Protection Group reserves the right to reschedule consultations due to unforeseen circumstances.

7. No Warranty or Liability

The consultation is provided “as is.” Lighthouse Protection Group assumes no responsibility for actions taken or decisions made by the customer based on preliminary discussions. The Company’s liability, if any, shall not exceed the cost of the consultation (which is free).

8. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law principles.

9. Acceptance

By scheduling or participating in a free consultation, the customer acknowledges and agrees to these Terms and Conditions.
